Return Policy


Thank you so much for your interest in our store! Prior to purchasing, please review our Return policy and contact us if you have any questions.

Our return and exchange policy is effective for ​30 calendar days​ from the day you receive your product if it meets the following criteria.​ To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. For refund and exchange requests, please send an email through the Contact Us page​ ​with your full name, order number, item description and the reason for your return. We are a small business and are happy to provide returns for items in new quality if the buyer ships it to our return address. We are unable to provide free return shipping labels at this time.

Return and exchange requests for orders received and delivered after ​30 days will be politely declined. ​If ​30 days have gone by since your order has been delivered, unfortunately we cannot offer you an exchange or a refund. 

Please read our item descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Accepted Free Return or Exchange Reasons:

  • Buyer received a product with a manufacturing defect
  • Buyer received item that is defective or damaged 
  • Buyer received the wrong product, color, or size from the item that was ordered

If a mistake has been made by the buyer, including the following, we ask that you cover the return shipping cost. Please contact us if this is your reason for return, and we will provide you with a return shipping address.

  • Buyer ordered the wrong item, quantity, color, or size
  • Buyer provided the incorrect address

    Note: If you realize after payment that you have provided the incorrect address or selected an incorrect item, please contact us ASAP and we will try our best to accommodate your request. If your order has already been processed or shipped, unfortunately, we cannot make changes to your order.

    Exchanges

    We will do everything we can to accommodate exchanges of items. If you receive an item that you'd like to exchange. Please contact us and let us know what your situation is. If the exchange request is approved, you can receive an exchange of product or store credit after the original item is returned in its original condition and packaging. Please note that the buyer is responsible for the shipping cost of sending the item back to us.

    Return Process 

    If you believe an error has occurred due to a mistake on our end, please accept our apologies for this inconvenience! Your satisfaction is important to us and we are happy to replace or exchange items.

    Return or Exchange Request Instructions: 

    Please follow these instructions for Return or Exchange Requests:  

    1. Take a photo of the problem – If the problem is with the size, please use a ruler in your photo.
    2. Send an email with the subject line “Order# [YourOrderNumber] [Return or Exchange] Request” to ​hello@the-soul-edit.com​. Please include the following: 
    • The photo(s)
    • A specific description of the issue 
    • The Order Number 
    • If there are multiple products in an order, identify the product with the issue 

    Our support team will respond within 24 hours and Return Instructions will be provided, if the item is approved for return.

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If you are approved, your refund will be processed right away and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card (or original method of payment) within a few days - depending on your bank. 

    Replacement

    All orders are guaranteed for delivery. If orders are not received due to circumstances beyond our control, a replacement item will be sent. The replacement item will be shipped to the original Shipping Address listed at the time the original order was placed.

    Cancellations

    We cannot guarantee cancellations after an order is placed. If you want to cancel your item, please email us as soon as possible and we will let you know if there is still a window to cancel.

    Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 

    If you were approved for a refund, but have not received it, please take the following steps. First, check your bank account, then contact your credit card company - it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

    If your tracking says delivered, but you cannot locate your package

    Please check with your neighbors or front desk/ mail room. If you are still unable to locate the package, please email us.
